Join avid bee keeper, Lloyd Younger, as he demonstrates the necessity for protecting all native bees. Learn more about the different types of bees, their involvement in growing our flowers, trees, and crops, and how we can support them in our own backyards. Lloyd will demonstrate how to make a solitary stingless bee hotel at home.
About the Presenter
Lloyd Younger chairs the Rockhampton branch of the Australian Native Bee Association (ANBA).
The ANBA is committed to building a dynamic member based organisation dedicated to protecting all native bees (not only stingless bees), protecting our members and providing great learning resources and social experiences. We are working with many to build a national network.
The ANBA promotes the conservation, cultural significance and sustainable management of all Australian native bees.
The ANBA promotes the development of native bee products and services to benefit agriculture, the community and the environment.
