About the Panel
Have you tried your hand at creating the perfect backyard compost – only to be plagued by rats, fungi, or bad smells?
Ken Mason is the owner of Woodvale Biodynamics, and will be taking us through the process of setting up a compost step by step. Whether you have a large property, or small backyard – the principals Ken will demonstrate can be tailored to your situation. With advice, and years of knowledge, join Ken at the Agricultural Education Program in the Robert Schwarten Pavilion Thursday 12:45pm.

Woodvale Park Biodynamics | Ken Mason is the owner of Woodvale Park Biodynamics, 16km from Yeppoon’s CBD. Ken started out on the family farm where they grew crops conventionally before moving into biodynamics where he found his passion in the agricultural space. Biodynamic farming expands on organic farming’s sustainable and natural approach with a holistic, single organism school of thought. Biodynamic is often described as having six principles; plant diversity, crop rotation, animal life, composting, homeopathic solutions and life forces. When we look after mother nature, she looks after us. Join Ken to learn from his many years of experience as one of the Capricorn Coast’s most knowledgeable farmers.
