STUD BEEF AND COMMERCIAL CATTLE

Rockhampton is the Beef Capital of Australia and what better way to celebrate this than to display the best Stud and Commercial Cattle within the Region! Make your way down to the cattle judging area to see the cattle from Rocky's backyard. 

Woodchop 

Watch in amazement at the accuracy and speed of the old-fashioned sporting rivalry – Woodchopping. Located on the Cremorne near Entry Gate 1 you can't miss the talent from around the region. 

Bake Off 

A crowd favourite is the spectacular Baking and Cake Decorating section found in the James Lawrence Pavilion! Including all the preserves, baking and decorated cakes – this one is a must see!

Arts and Crafts 

Come and view amazing creative talent from around the Rocky Region compete in the Arts & Crafts section! The extraordinary creations will range from pottery, china painting, quilting, card making, scrapbooking, needlework and fine arts! Pop into the James Lawrence to see the creativity of Rockhampton.

Photography 

The McCamley Pavilion is home to the Photography competition. Cast your keen eye over the works of talented local photographers. 

Horticulture 

Green thumbs will enjoy the ever popular floral displays in the Horticulture Pavilion. Featuring cut flowers, potted plants, miniature gardens and beautiful floral art – this section is well worth your time!

HORSES

In the heart of the Show at the Centre Ring are the Horses and Show Jumping.  Watch in awe as these amazing animals jump to new heights and wow crowds with their athletic feats and be mesmerised by the best groomed animals at The Show.
