Parasites (Animals)

Parasites

Parasites often conjure up feelings of disgust, but they are a deeply fascinating group of diverse creatures. This presentation with CQUniversity Lecturer in Agriculture, Saba Sinai, takes a closer look at the life and impact of important human and animal parasites.

While these organisms, including ticks, hookworms, flukes, lice and fleas, can cause significant harm to agriculture and human health, they offer interesting insights into biology and the struggle for survival. The presentation will also be accompanied by microscope demonstrations.
