Agriculture is more than just the farm. Primary production and the supply and demand for agricultural goods has fundamentally shaped human affairs throughout history.

In this presentation with CQUniversity Lecturer in Agriculture, Saba Sinai, we will explore some of the connections between agriculture and our world, from the rise and fall of great empires, to advances in science, engineering and medicine.

Despite an increasingly urbanised world, how will agriculture continue to be a central force in shaping society into the future?
