How ARE entrants judged?
Entrants are evaluated on criteria reflecting the Queensland Country Life Showgirls Award. Judges will assess ambitions, community involvement, and general knowledge across local, national, and international topics.
Entrants will also demonstrate awareness of the agricultural industry, its challenges, and its impact on communities, as well as their commitment to Agricultural Shows.
Judging considers personal presentation, leadership, public speaking, confidence, and engagement with others, culminating in an on-stage interview.
The sub-committee will support entrants throughout the process.
