The Rural Ambassador Program empowers emerging leaders to advocate for the agricultural sector, celebrate rural traditions, and promote the vital role of local Shows. More than a competition, it provides a platform for personal growth, leadership development, and meaningful industry connections.
Participants engage in a dedicated personal development program held before and during the Rockhampton Agricultural Show, equipping them with the confidence, skills, and networks needed to make a lasting contribution to their chosen field. The program winner will go on to represent Rockhampton at the Central Queensland Sub‑Chamber Awards, with the potential to progress to the State Finals at the Ekka.
