On-Street Parking

Free on-street parking is available surrounding the Rockhampton Showgrounds near Entry Gates 1 (New Exhibition Road, Wandal Road and Campbell Street) and 8 (Lion Creek Road).

Illegal parking, or parking causing an impediment for a local resident to access their home or business will be monitored and will result in a fine or the vehicle being towed (at owners expense).

There are a number of accessible parking spots available near Gate 1. Patrons must clearly display a current Government issued Disability Parking Permit to access these parking spots. Accessible parks will be monitored and enforced by Council’s Local Laws Department.

Convenient paid parking at Rockhampton State High School 

Rockhampton State High School offers paid parking via Graeme Acton Way, providing easy access and supporting a great cause. The closest Entry Gate to Rockhampton State High School is Gate 2.

Location: Rockhampton State High School, via Graeme Acton Way

Fees: Standard sized vehicles have a set fee. Additional fees apply for trailers and oversized vehicles.

Payment Methods: Cash and card accepted (Cash preferred).  EFTPOS transactions may incur additional fees and charges
