The Rocky Show, presented by JBS Rockhampton, displays the best of everything Rockhampton has to offer.

Rockhampton Regional Council Mayor Tony Williams said the Show was a staple on the family calendar and it was great to see the event grow.

“The Rocky Show is one of those events that generations of families look forward to every year.

“I still remember bringing my kids along when they were young. The excitement of the rides, the animals, the showbags.”

“Now I get to share that same experience with my grandkids and seeing their faces light up just reminds me how special this event is.”

“It’s fantastic to see the Show evolving each year with new attractions and big-name acts, while still holding onto those traditional elements that everyone loves,” Mayor Williams said.

Councillor Grant Mathers said he adores the community tradition and loves seeing the competitions bring creativity and skill to the forefront.

“I’m always amazed by the creativity in our region. The fine arts, cake decorating, poultry and cattle competitions highlight the incredible skill of our community,” Councillor Mathers said.

JBS Rockhampton’s plant manager, Anthony Milzewski said JBS are proud to be a multi-year partner of the Show as it has brought the community together for generations.

“It’s an iconic family event, showcasing the talents of our great region,” Mr Milzewski said.
