event road closure and FIREWORKS 2025

The Rockhampton Agricultural Show takes place from Thursday 12 June to Friday 13 June 2025. During this time there will be traffic and parking congestion around the immediate area.

Road Closures:

Rockhampton Regional Council wishes to advise that there will be road closures in place for the Rockhampton Agricultural Show on Exhibition Road and Graeme Acton Way.

Exhibition Road (Between Graeme Acton Way and Campbell Street) will be closed from 5:00 PM Wednesday 11 June to 6:00 AM Monday 16 June.

Graeme Acton Way (between Exhibition road and Hall Street) will be closed from 6:00 AM 10 June to 6:00 AM 16 June 2025.

Fireworks:

Fireworks displays have been planned for Thursday 12 June at 9:30 PM, and Friday 13 June at 7:50 PM. 

• Ensure your pets are wearing ID tags and their microchip details are up to date.

• Ensure your pets are exercised and well fed before the fireworks start.

• Keep your animals indoors in a safe, secure and comfortable environment.

• Leave the TV or radio on to mask any sounds if you won't be home.

If your pet escapes during the fireworks report them missing at www.rrc.qld.gov.au/lostpets Council will endeavour to keep disruption to a minimum and we thank you in advance for your understanding.
