Rockhampton Agricultural Show 2022 will comply with all  Federal and State legislation, including any Queensland Health Public Health Directions and follow all Government recommendations to minimise risks to staff, stakeholders, entrants and spectators.

Social distancing and strict hygiene rules will be in place and trade site holders must comply with all guidelines to provide a safe event for everyone.

Exhibitors, site holders and attendees must not attend the Event:

  • If they are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms; or
  • If Qld Public Health Directions prevent them from attending, including being diagnosed with COVID-19, being deemed a close contact or being directed by Qld Health to self-isolate or quarantine.

Exhibitors, site holders and attendees agree to follow the instructions of the Event staff at all times.

Here are some tips to stay COVID safe at the Rocky Show. 

COVID SAFE MESSAGES

COVID Safe messages may be delivered before, during and after events. Listen out for information and follow the directions.

MAINTAIN PHYSICAL DISTANCING

Help reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection by keeping your distance from other people where possible and avoiding close contact with people you do not live with.

PRACTICE GOOD HYGIENE

Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly (at least 20 seconds). Hand sanitiser is available a all venues and we encourage its use.

STAY HOME IF UNWELL

Please stay home is you are unwell, have a cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue, shortness of breath or any other flu-like symptoms.

FEELING UNWELL DURING AN EVENT

If you become unwell during the event, locate event staff or first aid. 

RIGHT TO REFUSE

Businesses have the right to refuse service and must insist that anyone displaying COVID-19 symptoms leaves the venue.

COVID SAFE SIGNAGE

Look for COVID Safe signage and follow directions.

CROWDS

If an event space is crowded, stay away.
