Call out for Rockhampton Show Volunteers

Want a chance to be part of all the behind-the-scenes energy, excitement, and action at the Rocky Show? Then put your hand up today to volunteer, and help make this the best Show that Rocky has ever seen!
Rockhampton Region Mayor Tony Williams said this is a great opportunity to get involved in an event that the community loves.
“There are plenty of exciting opportunities to help out, wherever your skills and interests lie,” Mayor Williams said.
“We are looking for COVID Marshals, gate keepers, ticketing scanners, stage coordinators, horse show stewards, and more.
“Volunteering at the Show is a great chance to have a fantastic time, meet some new friends, and really be part of a great team working together to put on a spectacular event.”
Volunteer positions include:
- COVID Marshal / Guest Services
- Information Booth
- Runner / Meal Delivery
- Ticketing Scanner
- Show Stewards
- Horse Stewards
- Centre Ring Gate Keepers
- Assistants in the Poultry, Cattle, Arts & Crafts, Horticulture and Photography sections
- Skilled workers, such as those with tickets for fork lifts, dozers, etc.
- Stage coordinators
